HET DORP DAT SAMEN VLOOG
Created as a farewell gift, this illustrated book tells the story of a small village that grows and thrives through collaboration, perseverance, and mutual support.
Through a cast of animal characters, the story reflects the challenges, achievements, and relationships that shaped the organization over the years. Each chapter represents a different stage in the village's development, highlighting how collective effort can transform adversity into opportunity.
The final publication, of 90 pages with 40 illustrations, became both a personal thank-you and a lasting reminder of the community the team had built together.

FINAL BOOK
APPROACH
The book was developed through a collaborative process involving writers, illustrators, designers, and stakeholders. Together, we translated the history and values of the organization into a fictional story about a village overcoming challenges and growing through cooperation.
Throughout the project, I contributed to several stages of the book's development, from early concept work to the final publication. My primary focus was on character creation and supporting the visual development of the project, while also contributing to story refinement and layout design
